The Game was reportedly arrested friday night (May 11) on suspicion of making criminal threats after police searched the rapper’s Glendale, CA home for more than three hours. He was released shortly after posting $50,000 bail.

According to the Associated Press a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said the arrest was related to an incident that occurred in February. She declined to elaborate and it is not known what the police officers were searching for in his apartment.

Sha Money recently expanded his production resume by scoring Sierra Online’s "Freestyle Basketball" video game. Partnering with Marc Ecko, the game allows players to face each other as well as dress their virtual players with Ecko, G-Unit, Zoo York and Avirex clothing among other brands. In addition to Sha’s score, the game also features exclusive freestyles from Lloyd Banks, Hot Rod and Sha’s new artist, Riz.

Nearly two years after R. Kelly was trapped in the closet and released TP.3 Reloaded, Kelz is back with a new album, entitled Double Up.

A new poll conducted by SOHH reveals that over 86% of those surveyed say that unlike Dipset honcho Cam’ron they would tell the police if they lived next door to a killer.

MTV is close to finishing a development deal to produce Rapping With the Stars, a new Hip-Hop themed competitive reality show. According to Variety, the show focuses on teams who square off against each other in various rap-oriented challenges.

Rapping With the Stars is being overseen by Tony DisSanto, who has executive produced such MTV shows as The Andy Milonakis Show, episodes of Nick Cannon Presents: Short Circuitz, Run’s House, The Shop and others.

Diplomats VP of A&R Duke Da God appeared on DJ Green Lantern’s Monday night Sirius satellite show on Monday (May 7), alongside fellow Dips Freekey Zeeky and 40 Cal.

The three appeared on Green Lantern’s "The Invasion Show," which airs on Sirius Satellite radio station "The Hip Hop Nation." Duke, Freekey and 40 used the appearance primarily to promote their newest release More than Music Vol. 2, which landed in stores yesterday (May 8), but the three also fielded calls from listeners to address the recent rift between Dipset founders Cam’ron and Jim Jones.

No Limit Records CEO and founder Percy "Master P" Miller is making an effort to transform his image and label, by vowing to turn away from using negative lyrics in the music he makes.

"Personally, I have profited millions of dollars through explicit rap lyrics," Miller told AllHipHop.com in a statement. "I can honestly say that I was once part of the problem and now it’s time to be part of the solution. I am ready to take a stand by cleaning up my music and follow my son’s footsteps and make a clean rap album."

Young Buck, who has for the most part stayed out of 50 Cent’s recent beefs, is calling on 50 and Game to settle their feud. The beef, which has gone on for about two years now, needs to stop, according to Buck.

"You know, niggas have differences. But if you ain’t no bitch nigga then you shouldn’t feel lesser (sic) than a man for stretching out your problems you had with somebody else and trying to get to them…"

A cover of 50 Cent’s upcoming album "Curtis" has been floating around the internet for a while now, but now also the full tracklist hit the internet, appearing on iTunes today. [See "More..." for tracklist and cover]

Most of the featurings of Curtis, which contains 18 tracks and one bonus music video of Funeral Music released earlier for Buck’s album, are still unknown. The tracklist shows only featurings of Nicole Scherzinger & Young Buck on "Fire” and Tony Yayo on a track called "The Mechanic".

Snoop Dogg insists that despite what you’ve heard about him lately, he isn’t that bad a dude.

The Dogg has been one of the most vocal MCs in hip-hop, telling his friends to unite, and here you’ll find out just where he stands on rappers dissing each other. Hint: He feels that hip-hop has enough enemies. Snoop also says, in his own inimitable way, that people shouldn’t be so hard on the women in rap videos.

The man we all know as DJ Drama now has to change his name, because this lesser known DJ Drama from Chicago actually has the rights to the name.

Eminem’s latest protege, Ca$his, who was featured on last year’s platinum compilation, Eminem Presents The Re-Up, is back with his first solo offering. The rapper recently released the lead single, "Lac Motion," from his forthcoming EP, The County Hound. The set is scheduled to hit stores on May 22nd.

Ca$his, who currently resides in Orange County, California, recently released a diss track aimed at The Game and Cam’ron. The rapper felt compelled to get involved in the ongoing beef’s because of his close relationship to label mate 50 Cent.

According to Billboard, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Twista are recording an album together. “We’re working on an album,” Layzie Bone told Billboard. “We’ve got, like, five, six, seven songs. Twista is our dog, man.

We’re unifying the Midwest. We had problems in the beginning, but that’s too long ago to bring up. We’re making music, man.” In the 90’s, Bone and Twista were engaged in a heated rivalry about who originated the quick, double-timed rhyme style.

Corporate giant Verizon has ended its partnership with Akon, after an explicit dance with a 15-year-old girl at a show in Trinidad.

The girl, who reportedly thought she won a dance contest, was allowed entry into Club Zen, despite the fact that she was underage. Akon, born Aliaune Thiam, proceeded to simulate sex with the under aged girl as they danced on the stage. Video of the performance was posted on Youtube.com, but was soon removed from the popular video sharing service.

Rumors of airplane crash involving Jay-Z earlier this morning (May 4) have been put to rest by a representative from his label, Def Jam.

Sources had reportedly told gossip website TMZ that that the Brooklyn bred rapper was on a four-seat propeller plane headed to watch the Mayweather-De La Hoya fight in Las Vegas this weekend, when it crashed near Asheville, North Carolina in the Smoky Mountains.

After releasing last year’s highly anticipated Hell Hath No Fury, the Clipse are wasting no time and have begun work on a brand new studio album.

According to Billboard, the Virginia-based brothers has been hard at work gathering new material for their next album, but refused to give any indication as to the progress of the as-yet-unfinished work. The duo recently ended a short stint on the road in which to promote Hell Hath No Fury, which has only managed to move 184,000 units according to Soundscan, despite the success of the album’s lead single, "Mr. Me Too."

Police in the UK obtained a court order that forced a club to close for 24 hours to stop a concert by American rapper Lloyd Banks, amid fears that the show will attract gang members.

Derbyshire police were made aware of the performance on Monday (Apr. 30) and applied for a court order to close T-Five, citing a history of violence at concerts featuring Banks and his fellow G-Unit members.

German fans have to find another place to buy Mims’ hit album Music Is My Savior in light of a new lawsuit filed by popular German rapper Bushido over the artwork on the album cover.

According to reports, the suit stems from a similarity between a silhouette of Bushido from the cover of the rapper’s Deutschland Gib Mir Ein Mic CD/DVD and the "I" in the logo for Mims’ name on the cover of Music Is My Savior.

A poll conducted by SOHH reveals that over 60% of those surveyed say the recent call by Russell Simmons and the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN) for the recording industry and media outlets to "remove/bleep/delete" the terms "bi**h," "h*e" and "n**ger," is not a good solution to the problem.

The survey, which was carried out shortly after HSAN’s request, included feedback from hip-hop consumers between the ages of 12 and 36. An overwhelming 71 % say artists should be held most responsible for bringing about a change in controversial song content and the use of degrading lyrics in rap music.

Atlanta based rapper and actor Ludacris and Disturbing Tha Peace’s Chaka Zulu and Jeff Dixon are teaming up with DuBose Entertainment to help produce a new reality show that will focus on the process of creating and maintaining a new music label.

Almost a year after his debut Listennn..The Album was released, Miami-based DJ and producer DJ Khaled is back with his sophomore effort We The Best.

Sean Paul of The YoungBloodZ has changed his name to Sean P and is planning the release of his new solo album, which is due in stores in summer 2007. According to Sean P, the new album is being recorded in Atlanta, Miami and Los Angeles.

The rapper, who recently launched a 21-date tour of U.S. Army bases throughout Asia in April in Tokyo, recently dropped "You Aint Know" featuring T Pain. "You Aint Know" is the first single from the album, which Sean P says will feature a number of high profile collaborations.

Superstar rapper 50 Cent has put his 52-room mansion in Farmington, CT up for sale for an undisclosed amount.

The 48,000-square-foot mansion also has a recording studio, servants’ quarters, in-door and outdoor pools, a boathouse and other amenities.

With the streets still buzzing over the "Stop Snitching" controversy, Ice-T weighed in on Cam’ron’s "60 Minutes" appearance and broke down the term "snitching."

"Cam’ron made a bad move. I mean, Cam’ron applied the rules to the streets, to the rules of hip-hop. Everybody in hip-hop ain’t affiliated with the streets on that level," Ice said. "So when they asked him that big question, if a serial killer lived next to him would he tell and he said, no; Cam’ron went out. And I love you Cam’ron, but that was a bad call. If you know somebody’s in the neighborhood and he’s raping little girls, you supposed to tell the police about that sucker. That’s not snitching."

Throughout his career, 50 Cent has stood toe to toe with a number of rappers during various battles. But now, the G-Unit leader has a new opponent in the form of a Christian group that wants him to stop wearing his diamond-covered cross.

The Resistance, a nationwide Christian organization focused on preserving Christian values in the media, is taking issue with 50 Cent for wearing the large cross as a fashion statement. For the organization’s founder Mark Dice, the cross contradicts what the rapper is saying in his music.

Queens rapper N.O.R.E. is working to complete his latest rap album, which he plans to release late this summer.

According to Billboard, NORE’s upcoming project Global Warming 11368 will be released independently. [At press time there is no word on what label]. For longtime fans, Global Warming will mark a return to more familiar territory and a departure from reggaeton, which the half black, half Puerto Rican rapper explored heavily on last year’s N.O.R.E. y la Familia… Ya Tú Sabe.
