Fans can now get their hands on previously unheard tracks from Tupac Shakur via his latest posthumous album Shakurspeare.
Released by early Pac collaborator Darrin Keith Bastfield, the album features some of the earliest documented recordings from the iconic rapper.
"I was there when Tupac heard himself for the first time rapping on a recording. As he sat in the cafeteria of the Baltimore School for the Arts it was as if he couldn’t believe that he was listening to himself," Bastfield told AllHipHop.com. "Just as Tupac was quietly amazed by hearing himself, I want people to hear Tupac as a young artist in his very first recordings ever having fun, rapping about issues that concerned us, and most importantly giving a cautionary and timely ‘Message of Peace’ in his own voice as if he was already a big rap star with a reputation to uphold."
Bastfield said he decided to settle on the title Shakurspeare after recalling a conversation he had with a then 17-year-old Pac about his aspirations to become a Shakespearean actor.

After having a significantly reduced album release schedule over the last few years, Cash Money Records has announced they will release 5 albums before the end of the year.
"Drake album, my album, Young Money, Wayne album, We gon’ put ‘em all out in one month, September going into October, G. Malone and 2 Pistols probably come out in between all of that," Cash Money CEO Baby said in a recent interview.
Cash Money Records was started in 1991 by brothers Brian "Birdman" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams. After a successful run of independent albums, the labels big break came in 1997 when Juvenile released the album Solja Rags which sold over 200,000 copies.

Although he’s been laying low in the face of numerous taunts from rapper The Game, Jay-Z seemed to be hinting at the possibility of retaliation in a recent interview.
During a recent trip to the popular radio show Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Jay did his best to try explain why Game continues with his seemingly unprovoked attack.
"I think he’s been posturing for this thing for a while," Jay explained. "I guess he just took the fact that I said I’m not talking about him which is not a diss at all. I figured that was his opportunity, he’s going on tour and he’s promoting, or buzz or marketing or however people feel they need attention these days. So it’s no real problems behind it, it’s no real challenge behind it. With the Nas thing, that was a real thing, it wasn’t done because of any marketing or anything like that. I typically let those types of things slide but you know, I could wake up tomorrow and just really go right in."
