Long Island bred rapper Busta Rhymes is in the studio working on his new, untitled, eighth album.
Despite a year plagued with arrests and controversial headlines, Rhymes is reportedly working with various producers on the new project, including Dr. Dre and Swizz Beatz.
Rhymes has teamed up with Swizz Beatz again, to produce the single "Watch Ya Mouth". This track features Busta Rhymes delivering a verse aimed at nay sayers, who question his status in the Hip-Hop game.

One way or another, 50 Cent makes sure the world talking about him — especially after his performance at the BET Awards on Tuesday night.

But the G-Unit leader’s appearance was more memorable because he skipped the entire first verse of the song and instead traveled into the crowd, giving out pounds to some of his peers.
Speculation raged on blogs and message boards over just what the snag was all about: Did 50 go off-script to show off? Did he forget the words to his own song when the teleprompter didn’t cue properly? Was he lip-synching?
Yesterday, however, 50 appeared on BET’s "106 & Park" to explain.

With his arrest six months behind him, self-proclaimed iPod King DJ Drama is preparing to unleash his Grand Hustle/Atlantic debut album and introduce the first artist off his Aphilliates Music Group Willie Da Kid.
The Philly-born DJ, whose real name is Tyree Simmons, made headlines across the country when he and fellow Aphilliates member DJ Cannon were arrested in raid of their Atlanta offices by Georgia state police and the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) on charges of making and selling illegal CDs.
Drama and Cannon face the possibility of five years in prison and up to $100,000 in fines if convicted; but Drama says that while his legal troubles are not over, for now he isn’t stressing the situation.

Last night (June 26) L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium hosted some of the biggest names in entertainment, including prize-winning singers Beyoncé and Jennifer Hudson, who each picked up two awards.
Hosted by funny woman Mo’Nique, who joined in on several of the night’s peformances, the 2007 BET Awards opened with a surprise Dreamgirls duet of "And I’m Tellin’ You I’m Not Going," by Oscar award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson and one of the original Broadway "Dreamgirls," cast member Jennifer Holliday.
The night only got better for Hudson, who picked up BET awards for Best New Artist and Best Actress. Fellow Dreamgirls castmate Beyoncé Knowles, who performed at the show alongside sister Solange Knowles and Destiny’s Child members Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, also received two awards - one for Best Female R&B artist and the other for "Irreplaceable" which garnered Video of the Year accolades.
