Queens rapper N.O.R.E. is working to complete his latest rap album, which he plans to release late this summer.

According to Billboard, NORE’s upcoming project Global Warming 11368 will be released independently. [At press time there is no word on what label]. For longtime fans, Global Warming will mark a return to more familiar territory and a departure from reggaeton, which the half black, half Puerto Rican rapper explored heavily on last year’s N.O.R.E. y la Familia… Ya Tú Sabe.

One person was injured and nine others arrested after gunfire erupted outside a Young Buck party at a Kennewick, Washington hotel on Saturday (April 28).

According to The Tri-City Herald, following a performance by Buck at the nearby Club Paradise, the aforementioned after party began at the Hilton Garden Inn and a fight broke out in the parking lot. During the melee, authorities claim six shots were fired by at least two weapons, with one bullet passing through the leg of a Las Vegas man identified as Robert Osound.

Australian authorities have barred Snoop Dogg from entering their country to serve as a presenter at the MTV Australian Video Music Awards in Sydney this weekend.

G-Unit rapper Tony Yayo has appeared in court to deny attacking a teenage boy after objecting to a t-shirt the youngster was wearing. The hip-hop star, 29, is fighting the charges he slapped 14-year-old James Rosemond, son of Jimmy ‘Henchman’ Rosemond, head of rival music management company Czar Entertainment.

Yayo’s lawyer Scott E. Leemon said, "After a detailed investigation, I stand here to steadfastly and unequivocally state that Tony Yayo did not slap anyone. "

Eve was reportedly arrested in Los Angeles early Thursday morning (April 26) on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing her Maserati on Hollywood Boulevard.

When authorities arrived at the scene, Eve was cuffed and taken to the Los Angeles County Jail. She would then post bail hours later and was picked up by another Maserati.
