Chamillionaire’s Ridin’ With 50 Cent

The rumored collaboration between Chamillionaire and 50 Cent has been officially confirmed.

SOHH recently caught up with Chamillionaire during "MTV’s Video Music Awards" press forum and the Houston bred emcee revealed that him and the G-Unit honcho have worked on some material.

"I bumped into 50 in NY a couple of weeks ago, and he hollered at me and said he wanted to do some stuff, next day Sha Money hit me up and put me on some records," explained Cham.

Twista Hit With Lawsuit From Touring Accident

Chicago bred rapper Twista and his management team have reportedly been sued by a man who claims he was seriously injured after a 2004 tour bus accident.

As SOHH previously reported, Twista (born Carl Mitchell) and his entourage were driving from a show in Syracuse, N.Y., to Chicago when their tour bus veered off the road on Erie, PA’s Interstate 90 and crashed into a median.

The accident killed Twista’s security guard Arthur Dixon, the son of legendary blues singer Willie Dixon, and injured five others.

Ludacris & DTP Give Exclusive Concert for Cingular

Ludacris, along with fellow DTP members Bobby Valentino and Shareefa recently gave a performance that will be available exclusively to Cingular Wireless customers.

The concert, which was held yesterday (August 30) at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, is part of the Cingular Sounds Live concert series. The series is developed specifically to provide mobile content for Cingular customers and is made available through their on-demand streaming video service, Cingular Video. "Advanced technology has found a new way to break through to the audience, and DTP is proud to be doing this live concert for the Cingular audience," Ludacris said.

Mya Gets Real On ‘Liberation’

R&B vocalist Mya will return on Nov. 14 with her first album for Universal Motown, "Liberation." In addition to first single "Ayo" featuring DJ Kool, the set includes "I Got That" featuring the Game, the Scott Storch-produced "Lock U Down" and the Kwame-produced "I Am."

Styles P Finally Offers “Time,” Sophomore Set Due In October

An official release date for Styles P’s long-delayed sophomore album, Time Is Money, has been confirmed.

The album, which was originally due for release in the summer of 2005 via Interscope Records, was pushed back several times and was also hindered by a dispute between the label and Styles P and his Lox groupmates ( Jadakiss and Sheek Louch).

According to an Interscope representative, Time Is Money, will now hit stores on October 17th.

Dem Franchize Boyz member Parlae, and six others appeared in a Fulton County courtroom yesterday for a plea hearing, only to have their charges reduced.

Yesterday, August 28th Parlae appeared before Judge Thelma Wyatt Cummings Moore at his plea hearing, which had previously been rescheduled from an earlier date. When the defendants’ charges were read they had been reduced from drug trafficking to the charge of possession with the intent to distribute.
